Gene went to MEPS yesterday and signed on the dotted line with the Army. He has been Army before and then he joined the 185th Air National Guard in Sioux City. He has always been a MP(military police) but now he will be Transport Management Coordinator. He ships on Jan 27 for Fort Sill OK to in process for White Sands NM for 4 weeks and 6 days for mini basic training since it has been almost 20 yrs since he went through basic they thought he needed a refresher course. Than it is off to Fort Eustis VA for his AIT and he will be there for 6 weeks and 1 day.
We do not know were we will be stationed yet but will keep everyone informed of what is going on. We should find out two weeks into his AIT were we will be stationed so I will be able to post it and hopefully it is some place warmer than South Dakota.
